How much does it cost and will you bill my insurance company for me?
Our Financial Policy is designed to be clear and convenient. Our patients love that finances are not an ongoing guessing game in the jungle of the insurance industry.
At our office, we will submit your claims for you to your insurance company, so that you will not have any paperwork to do. Patients pay at the time of service and then your insurance company will reimburse you directly, based on your coverage. The initial exam is $25 (3-9 yr/old), $50 (10-17 yr/old), $75 (18 yr/old and over). Price differences are based on the "complexity" of the initial exam. The longer you have been walking the Earth the more history there is to evaluate.
Beyond the initial exam it is only $50 per treatment. That's it! There are no additional charges or add-on fees. Generally, the first visit for an adult will be a total of $125 ($75 exam and $50 treatment) then just $50 per visit going forward. There is no additional charge for follow up exams, exercise instruction, etc.
Are we in your insurance's network?
It is commonly assumed that in-network is less expensive than out-of-network and in a lot of cases that would be accurate, but not here. We are an out-of-network provider for all plans. Because a chiropractor is considered a specialist, typically most people’s IN-NETWORK copay for a specialist is the same or not much different than our flat $50 fee. We have found that with most insurance plans there is often not a big difference between your out-of-network coverage and your in-network coverage and in a few cases it could even be less expensive. For instance if you have a $40 copay in-network but you have a 30% copay out-of-network then you should be reimbursed approximately $35 of the $50 you have already paid at the time of service, making your out of pocket expense about $15 per visit as opposed to the $40 if we were in network.
Every plan is different and we would be happy to contact your insurance company for you to find out the specifics of your particular plan if you would like.
Also keep in mind that there is no tangible price tag for getting well in an efficient manner, so effective care is almost always the least expensive route. Over a decade ago when Dr. Perron was in networks he was given top tier status based on being able to achieve results for the patients in a shorter period of time and for less expense than his peers. Check out the reviews on Google, Demandforce, and here on the website to see what our patients have said about their experience.
We look forward to working with you!
